Magical Tails Unfold

Gray glared at the distant structure. "And that's where I'm going," he announced.

Silvie looked at the man. "Not without me you're not!" she demanded.

"Silvie the note said come alone," he reasoned.

"And so you shall," she replied before transforming into a small bug, so small, she was a mosquito.

Natsu smiled. "Silvie looks as though she's not taking no for an answer."

Lyon, angry, got in the man's way. "That wasn't nice of you," he sneered. "You think your dark magic scares me? No one touches the woman I love and gets away with it. Ice Magic shield!" Just then a shield was formed between the two.

'He loves me,' Nicole thought in her head. "Lyon!" She cried as he was attacked.

"No, don't! It's too dangerous," said Kurai as she dragged her out of the room and to a safe place.
"Oh no! I see smoke rising from the tower! That's where Kurai's at!" Lucy panicked, pointing. This was not good. Seemed Kurai was getting caught up in some fight and was in danger. Gray had better hurry up and get over there.

Lyon could see this guy was tough, but Lyon spent years of training to be the better man. He would defeat the guy. Lyon kept attacking with his ice, trying to slow the guy down.

Meanwhile Silvie attached herself into Gray's hair. There was no sense in trying to attach herself to his clothes as he would strip before too long. Gray, not bothering to think, ran off without a plan.

"Should we go after him?" asked Lucy.

"I'll kill you!" Yelled the man as Kurai came back in to help.

"N... NO!" Kurai yelled. She jumped in front of Lyon who was weaken from the battle and got hid being threw from a window where she crashed down to the ground below, severely wounded. As she faded in and out of consciousness she thought she heard someone's voice crying out to her that sounded like Gray. She then passed out just as Gray ran up to her.
While at the same time Lyon felt he couldn't take another blow. Nicole stumbled into the room. "Guess this is it for me then," Lyon sighed.

"Lyon!" Nicole cried out. She jumped in the way of the attack, getting hit. She fell into Lyon's arms. "Please! Don't die Lyon. All this revenge, it... it's not worth your life. I love you." Then she went stone cold. She was dead! No! This couldn't be! He couldn't lose another he cared for.

Gray gasped. "Kurai!"

Silvie then transformed back to her human self and went over and cuddled the girl to her. "Gray. Go. The others are coming, I can sense them. You go up ahead. It would be safe to assume Lyon's plan just went up in smoke. Go and stop who ever is up there. They won't stop trying to get to Kurai."

Gray nodded and ran off.

"Nicole...Nicole..."

"Haha!" the man laughed. "First Kurai. Then her, your slut. And now you!"

Lyon lightly traced his fingers down her cheek. "I love you Nicole. I wish I knew this before now. I wish it wasn't until last night when I realized my love for you. I wish I knew earlier today that I loved you. Now...now I lost that chance..."

"Oh please," the man sneered. "This garble is making me sick. You're killer Lyon Vastia."

"Not anymore! Nicole taught me something. Life is special. Chaish it and never seek revenge. My plan has changed. I won't use the moon drip and I won't seek revenge on Gray. It isn't his fault! This is for Nicole!" Lyon attacked with his ice, just as Gray came in and heard what Lyon said. So, that's what it was making the islanders turn into monsters. A moon drip!

"I will take Kurai! You have no right to stop me! You think you stand a chance against the master of Midnight Flower. I will take Kurai. She's my daughter!" The man yelled. What! The leader of Midnight Flower is Kurai's father? But... wasn't her father dead?

"That's... that's impossible..." Gray breathed. He saw Lyon was attacking again and saw the woman who took Kurai dead on the floor. "Ice mage spear!"

Just then ice blades formed on Gray's arms and he jumped up, using the ice blades like regular blades. "You're not taking Kurai!"

Lyon saw Gray. "Gray, I'm sorry for everything. Now let's take this bastard out, for both our girls!" Lyon had a point there. They've be much stronger if they worked together. The two shot their ice as a team at the guy. There was a cloud of mist. When it cleared he was gone.

Down where the ice encased Deliora there was a voice inside Lyon's head. It was the spirit of Ur, "I am not dead Lyon. I am the ice that surrounds Deliora. I can bring Nicole back to life if you wish. However, there are conditions attached. You must give up your plans of the moon drip and make up with Gray. Become friends again. Only then will I be able to fuse my spirit with Nicole's to bring her back."

Lyon gasped as he stood perfectly still. Gray was quick to rush off to find out how Kurai was doing and to hope that bastard didn't reach her. He knew Silvie's magic was a bit depleted and he had no idea how far back Natsu and the others were.

"U...Ur..." Lyon breathed. "I know you're not dead... but... but how..." He was referring to how she could speak to him telepathically.

"I am using magic to speak directly to you. Only you can hear me. Now do you wish for me to save Nicole? Do you promise to end all of this and make up with your friend?" Ur asked him. "Also when I fuse my spirit with her's she will have all my powers."

"All your powers?!" he blinked, surprised by this. Lyon looked at the woman he loved that he couldn't tell her he loved her until it was too late. "Ur... I would do anything. I protected her from the bastard who used her as a piece of trash when we were still kids. She's been my confidant since you left us. She's not just someone I want to have sex with; she's someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. I would gladly give up my magic to have her alive so I could give her all her dreams including a family if she wishes one."

Gray ran down towards Kurai and Silvie. "Silvie!" he yelled. He sighed in relief when he saw the two were still where he left her and his friends were able to catch up.

There was a bright flash of light. "Oh there is a risk. Deliora will be brought back. But he's not as strong as he was. You can take him. That I'm sure of." The ice melted and the light vanished into Nicole's body. She woke up as Deliora came back to life and tried to grab her. "Oh crap!" She jumped out of the way.

She ran over to Lyon. "Lyon, you're alright. But talk later. Right now we have to..." Deliora fell over and died. "Uh... ooooookay."
"Oh dear! Kurai!" Erza yelled.

"This is bad," said Lucy. "She's hurt very badly. See there. She even has glass inbetted in her skin." She'd need to have surgery to get the glass out of her. Gray probably felt his heart ache at hearing that.

Lyon's eyes narrowed. "What... all this time... Ur actually was killing him?" He blinked and turned to Nicole. "Nicole..." he breathed. "You're... you're alive." He looked to the now dead body of Deliora. 'Thank you master. I will not let you know.' His hands came up and rested on Nicole's shoulders. "Nicole..." He lifted his head. "I love you, with every fibre in my being and I no longer wish to use you for sex but to make you my girlfriend and perhaps one day my wife."

(OOC - skipping the Gray scene because I have an idea for it but need Lyon and Nicole moment to be done first)

"I love you to. And would love to be your wife." Nicole had tears of happiness in her eyes. She leaned in, wrapping her arms around Lyon and pressed her lips tightly to his in a loving kiss. Her hands rubbed up and down his back as she kissed him.

Lyon pulled her tight against him, glad he actually didn't lose the chance to tell her after all. He kissed her with very fibre of his being. It wasn't like any kiss they had before in recent years. This was full of love and joy like their very first kiss when they were 'innocent' teens. He had not kissed her like that since those days. He wanted to say those words again but couldn't with his lips locked with hers. Instead of demanding penetration, Lyon asked permission by lightly licking her lips, wanting her to open her mouth.

Nicole decided to tease him a bit. She refused to open up her mouth. Lyon tickled her sides a bit and she gasped, opening her mouth, letting him in. Nicole moaned into his kiss as she felt his tongue exploring inside of her mouth. After the kiss was broke Lyon rubbed his hand along her cheek in a loving manor. Nicole took Lyon by the hand and the two of them made their way outside.

Lyon squeezed her hand but then stopped forcing her to stop. "Damn! Kurai! During the fight she was thrown through a window and who knows where she landed. We need to find her and offer assistance at once. Nicole, I want you to go around and gather up all my forces and tell them to stand down. The war is over with Gray and Deloria. The Moon Drip will now stop and people here will return to normal."

"Okay, if that is what you wish." Nicole kissed him again. She then went to tell the forces and Sherrie the news. Lyon went and could his friend, Gray with the woman he loves in his arms and heard what was said about how bad her injuries were and she had glass shards inbetted in her skin.

"What can we do?" Lucy wondered.

"Gray infuse your ice on her to stop the bleeding," Lyon announced as he approached them with his hands in the air in a surrender type manner.

"What?!?" Gray asked. "She hates the cold!"

"That can't be dealt with right now. She will surely died in a few hours if it's not done. I did it once to Nicole after Ur embedded herself as Deloria's imprisonment. Nicole's life now has been spared on the promise that I end the feud with you, which I'm agreed. She has now gone to gather my forces. In amongst the forces is my medic who can help her. That bastard who claims to be her father is still on the island."

"I guess you're right." Gray went and covered Kurai's body with ice. Right when he went to pick her up though her body started glowing while inside the ice.

"What is that?" Lucy wondered pointing at the girl's body. Kurai suddenly had a rainbow wrap around her body and the power glowed so brightly it shattered all the ice around her body. When Gray checked her, her body was fully healed. That was rainbow magic! Then that explained it, why her mage powers couldn't be sensed. She's a rainbow mage! A rainbow mage was said to have powerful magic over all elements of nature and could heal wounds by turning back time, any wound. But they could not heal sicknesses or poison.

"She's a rainbow mage!" Lyon gasped. No wonder the Midnight Flower wanted her. If she had her powers absorbed from her body the rainbow would become tainted and evil and all the happiness and joy could be sucked out of a person when the evil magic was used, along with their soul. Plus after absorbed the rainbow mage would die.

"Rainbow mage?!" Silvie blinked.

Gray didn't know what to think. "Now that makes a lot of sense. Midnight Flower wants her flower."

Erza smiled. "Well it's too late." Erza saw as the woman glowed the spell Makarov placed on her suddenly shattered. "Look!"

Everyone turned their attention to Kurai's feet which were bare of her boots. From the blast of being sent out of the building damaged her footwear. The fake mark of Fairy Tail suddenly appeared to all to see when before only those outside of Fairy Tail could see.

"She's an official Fairy Tail wizard!?" Silvie gasped.

"Why is she still unconscious?" Asked Lucy.

"She's probably wore out," said Erza. "We should get back to town. We still have a mission to finish." None of them knew that since Lyon had dropped the moon drip the villagers were no longer cursed.

"The Moon drip has been cancelled," Lyon stated.

"Moon drip?" Gray asked turning to his former friend. "What are you talking about?"

"Three years ago, I came to this island on the intent on releasing Deloria from his prison just so I could kill him myself to show you up. I've blamed you all these years for Ur's decision. Until that asshole showed up, I was going to show you I'm the better man but then Nicole died and I realized I loved her more than revenge. Ur telepathically sent me a message offering her life force into Nicole so long as I forget my vendetta and start anew."

"You what!?" Gray yelled.

"Deloria is dead permanently now. Ur's life force is in Nicole which freed Deloria but Ur's power weakened him to the point he died minutes after being released. She actually killed him. Your parents death has now been avenged thanks to our master. With that..." He pointed upwards to the moon showing a beautiful normal color moon. "the Curse has been lifted and now the village is back to normal who are actually good monster people to begin with but the Moon Drip turned them partially human making them forget they weren't human."

Nicole walked up to Lyon just then,"Sorry, I have good news and bad news. The good news is everyone has backed off and left. The bad news is one declined and says she will not stand for it. It's Sherrie. When I told her we're a couple she said she was leaving to join the Midnight Flower to take her revenge on me."

What! Sherrie is gone! And she was joining that evil guild? This was very bad. Lyon probably knew it was because Sherrie was in love with him and didn't want to accept him with Nicole instead of her.

"Damn!" Lyon cursed. "Midnight flower could be controlling her."

"Forgive me for saving this but," Silvie began. "When we fought with her earlier, I noticed she's easily jealous. She even called Kurai your next fuck toy. I know that isn't true as you've declared your love for Nicole but I would assume she hates Nicole and wishes to be with you."

Lyon's head fell as he took Nicole's hand. "I've never felt anything like that with Sherrie. It's always been Nicole. I just never knew it until now." He turned to her. "Nicole, please forgive me in all the times I've mistreated you."

Without coming out and saying it with mixed company, he was telling her all the times they had sex and made her do all the work.

Gray was cuddling Kurai to his chest, not listening as tears glistened. Ur was alive like he thought and she sacrificed her life to protect him and now Lyon and his girlfriend.
